San Francisco announced that they have signed Taylor Cascino for the 2015 season.

Cascino returns for his second year with the Dogfish. Despite his position last season as an offensive handler, Cascino scored twice as many goals (6) as the assists (3) he made in 2014, and was a solid force on defense.

“Taylor Cascino is one of only a handful of players to win three USAU Championships with three different teams,” said Dogfish Assistant Coach Matt Ruby. “His athleticism combined with high frisbee IQ make him a natural leader.”

Last year Cascino reported that the best advice he’d ever received was to learn how to learn. This season will be a test to see how much he—and his teammates—have followed that principle after a tough rebuilding season in 2014.

“I’m excited and honored to sign on for another year,” said Cascino. “We have a great mix of veteran leadership and young, raw, athletic talent that should make our 2015 campaign a hell of an adventure for both our players and our fans.”
