The San Francisco Dogfish have partnered with Subs on Hubs to be the primary food vendor for this season’s home games.
We know the Bay Area is hungry for good Ultimate. Jon Ranis, owner and operator of Subs on Hubs, is hoping they’re hungry for good food, too. With so many food trucks battling for customers, the arena has expanded online. But that’s not where Ranis prefers to spend his time.
“I’m pretty old school,” he said. “I may not be on social media all the time, but that’s because I’m concentrating on making high-quality food.”
Subs on Hubs provides New York style street fare in the form of gourmet Greek and Italian sandwiches. For Dogfish games Ranis will also serve hot dogs, burgers and grilled cheese for the kids. He does parties and catering, and when not fueling the Fish Faithful at Dogfish games, you can find Subs on Hubs at Fifth between Mission and Market every Friday from 11:00 to 2:00.
Stop by this Saturday for opening day, say hello and support the man who’s keeping fans fed at the games!
