On Saturday the San Francisco Dogfish play the Portland Stags for a second week in a row, but this time they’ll be on their home field. Here’s what you need to know to be part of the action!

The Dogfish are excited to welcome the Bay Area Derby Girls and their fans to the game on June 7. Find out more about their upcoming Golden Bowl and show them your support. B.A.D. girls need love, too!


Saturday’s weather should be mild, but our entertainment will be anything but! Come early and enjoy the antics of the Phone Sex Operators, who will be performing before and during the game, and at halftime.

Boxer Stadium | 166 Havelock St., San Francisco


Matthew J. Boxer Soccer Stadium is a comfortable, open-air venue in family-friendly Balboa Park, where every seat is a great seat. The main stadium entrance is along a pedestrian path off Havelock Street, and the stadium is only a couple of blocks from the Balboa Park BART station. Free street parking can be found on Havelock Street and San Jose Avenue. Please observe all posted signs.

Players to Watch

Evan Boucher – Back in the game this week for a much-hoped-for win against the Stags, Boucher is team captain and point-leader with 16 assists and 8 goals so far this season.
Drew Kim – One of a small core of returning players, Kim (10 assists, 5 goals) has stepped up and shown he’s a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the disc.
James Yeager – A bit of a maverick with the disc, Yeager nevertheless delivers (12 assists, 1 goal) and sets great Ultimate plays in motion.
