The San Francisco Dogfish have secured Drew Kim for the 2014 MLU season.
From the beginning of season one, Kim drew attention with his persistence and reliability on the field. Kim had a strong season last year with 15 goals and 12 assists.
“Drew Kim is an offensive force,” says Dogfish Head Coach Justin Safdie, “and is one of the best in the league at coming down with 50/50 discs.”
Kim and 2013 MVP Evan Boucher developed a definite rhythm over the course of the season, and partnered frequently on goals for the team. It’s those kinds of collaborations – among others – that he’s hoping will grow.
“I’m really looking forward to this season,” said Kim. “Pro Ultimate – and the MLU in particular – made some really great strides last year, so it will be exciting to see how we can build upon that momentum in year two. Personally, I hope to continue to play an active role in not only bringing home some Dogfish wins, but also helping to grow the organization and bring more awareness and fans to Ultimate.”
