Sam Adamson is the most recent player to join the growing San Francisco Dogfish 2014 roster.
Adamson started the 2013 season as a practice player. On several occasions he was moved off the bench and into the spotlight, where he shined as a solid member of the Dogfish squad.
Dogfish Head Coach Justin Safdie noted, “Sam is a phenomenal defender and a great glue guy. His promotion from a supporting role on the practice team is a no-brainer.”
While Adamson is concentrating on his new status and individual performance, his thoughts run more toward his team as a whole.
“Repeating our achievement as top of the Western Conference is a challenge we want. We’re ready to push for it, and will give our all to take the MLU finals this year as well.”
Because he experienced last season from both the sidelines and the field, Adamson took advantage of the opportunity to absorb different aspects of what was going on around him.
“I’ve heard a lot of feedback from players, coaches, and executives about how much they learned and grew from the first season. I’m looking forward to building on that not only with the Dogfish, but with the MLU overall. Everyone’s ready to to give fans and players an even better experience this time around.”
