The San Francisco Dogfish began ticket sales today with the announcement that they will return to Yellowjacket Stadium in Berkeley for 2016 MLU Season.

The San Francisco Dogfish return to Berkeley for a second season after enjoying a successful home schedule at Yellowjacket Stadium in 2015.  The stadium is conveniently located three blocks south of the downtown Berkeley BART.

The Dogfish were victorious in 3 of their 5 games in the friendly home environment last season, including their 18-17 upset of the Portland Stags, Portland’s only loss on the season.

With this announcement, Major League Ultimate has confirmed that a significant first in the league’s 4 year history will occur this year at Yellowjacket when the New York Rumble visit the Dogfish on Saturday May 14.  This game, part of MLU’s inaugural season of cross-divisional games will be the first time a team from the Eastern Conference has travelled to play on the west coast, as well as the first meeting between teams from the both conferences outside of a Championship match.

The stadium announcement was made to coincide with the start of ticket sales for the upcoming 2016 MLU season, with both single game and season ticket packages on sale now.

Season ticket packages include the full 5 game home schedule of the Dogfish, giving fans a chance to see the home team face the Rumble, Stags, Seattle Rainmakers and Vancouver Nighthawks (twice).
