The San Francisco Dogfish announced today that GSPORTS physical therapy will be the team’s official medical partner for the 2016 MLU season.
For the second season, the San Francisco Dogfish will be happy to have GSPORTS Physical Therapy as the the team’s official training partner, providing injury reduction and rehabilitation support during the upcoming MLU season.
“The Dogfish are an exciting team to watch and we’re proud to be a partner with Major League Ultimate again.” said Patrick Gee, President of GSPORTS. “GSPORTS Physical Therapy successfully rehabilitated several players last year and we anticipate playing a key role again this year in reducing the amount of time players are sidelined from an injury.”
A physically demanding sport, ultimate requires athletes at all levels to take care when competing. Even for the most cautious athletes, injuries occur. With that in mind, the Dogfish sought out a top level physical therapy partner to help keep their athletes on the field in top condition. GSPORTS fit the bill perfectly.
“We are extremely excited to have GSPORTS Physical Therapy as our partner for the Dogfish again in 2016.” said MLU Partnership Development Associate Robert Catzen, “Patrick and his staff have done a phenomenal job with the team thus far and the value of consistency when it comes to the safety, care and rehab of our players cannot be understated. “
With the renewed partnership, GSPORTS will continue to provide physical therapy services for the Dogfish at their San Francisco and Berkeley offices.
“GSPORTS Physical Therapy specializes in providing athletes in the Bay Area with customized treatment plans for sports injuries and orthopedic conditions.” continued Gee, “Our focus is on full recovery from injury and prevention of future injuries. Get rid of your pain and get back to your game at GSPORTS Physical Therapy.”
