One of the handful of veteran players on the San Francisco Dogfish in 2016, Nick Fiske followed a solid rookie season in 2015 with a very impressive sophomore campaign for the ‘Fish this past season.

While Fiske, a 37 year old handler out of UC Santa Barbara, saw his playing time increase in 2016, he also saw a much higher percentage of his time on the D-line under new Head Coach Jason Seidler. Fiske finished in the Top 5 in several statistical categories for the Dogfish, playing the 3rd most points on the year (154) and recording the 4th most blocks (10).

With solid play and impressive athleticism, Fiske became a surprise candidate for Breakout Player of the Year in 2016, and was a finalist for several end of year defensive awards.
