Nate Young #15
Goals: 11 Assists: 2 Blocks: 3
MLU Experience: 1
The San Francisco Dogfish fielded a team full of talented rookies in 2016, with Young quickly becoming a major piece of the team’s offense. While listed as a handler, Young’s play as a rookie was more in the role of a hybrid, as he proved to be one of the teams most effective goal scorers as the season unfolded.
An experienced club player, Young’s professional debut was a success, as he finished tied for fourth on the team with 11 goals scored, despite missing time due to a foot injury. Speed, athleticism and a strong sense of the offense allowed the 30-year old Young to become a valuable weapon for Coach Jason Seidler in 2016.
