Fans had plenty to be excited about after Naruo’s rookie campaign with the San Francisco Dogfish in 2016. The 31-year old product of Las Positas College became an instant presence on the Dogfish O-line, tallying eight goals, an assist and a block in his first three games with the team.

A true hybrid, Naruo has the athelticism and field awareness made him a recieivng threat, while his ability to find teammates deep with an assortment of throws forced defenders to cover him as a handler. Naruo’s 138 points played were the most among Dogfish rookies, and fifth most on the team. Playing almost exclusively on the O-line, Naruo finished third on the team in total scoring, recording 14 goals and eight assists.
